This Privacy Policy explains how Gooreo ("Gooreo", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website or use the Gooreo platform. We built Gooreo to be sovereign by default, and we treat your data with the same care.
01Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and the contents of any message you send us through the contact form — together with a minimal amount of technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) needed to operate and secure the site. When you use the Gooreo platform, we also process the account, workspace, and usage data required to deliver the service.
02How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, to provide and improve the service, to keep the platform secure, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the contents of your workspace to train shared AI models.
03Analytics and cookies
This website uses privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics that do not track you across other sites or build advertising profiles. Analytics run only when we have configured them; when they are disabled, no analytics data is collected. The only cookie this website sets is the one that remembers your chosen language. 04How we share information
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers) under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms, or where required by law. Each customer organisation's data is isolated at the database level. Every provider we currently use is named, with its purpose and the data involved, on our Sub-processors page.
05Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. The contact form on this website stores nothing: it opens a pre-filled message in your own email app, so nothing is submitted to or saved on our servers. If you choose to send that email, it arrives in our mailbox and we keep it only for as long as we need it to handle your request.
06Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and may opt out of any sale of personal information — Gooreo does not sell personal information. 07International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it.
08Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, per-organisation isolation, authenticated and audited access, and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
09Children's privacy
Gooreo is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
