Cookie Policy
Last updated 2026-08-12
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies Gooreo uses, what each one is for, and how you control them. The list is short on purpose: Gooreo runs no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
01What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Some are strictly necessary — without them you could not stay signed in. Others remember a preference, and others are used for measurement or attribution. Related technologies such as your browser's local storage work the same way from a privacy point of view, so we cover them here too.
02What this website sets
This marketing website sets one cookie: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you picked so you land in it next time. It sets no advertising and no tracking cookies. Your light or dark preference is kept in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, and never leaves your device. Our analytics, when we enable them, are cookieless and build no profile of you.
03Cookies in the Gooreo console
The Gooreo console at app.gooreo.com uses the cookies below and nothing else.
| Cookie | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-… (Supabase auth) | Keeps you signed in to the console and carries your session between pages. | Strictly necessary | Session — until you sign out or it expires |
| OAuth state cookies | Protects the "connect your account" flows while you are redirected to a provider and back, so the reply cannot be forged. | Strictly necessary | About 10 minutes |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose, on this website and in the console. | Preferences | 1 year |
| gooreo_referral_code | Credits the partner whose link brought you here if you go on to create an account. | Attribution — set only with your consent | 30 days |
04Consent and how to change it
Strictly necessary cookies and the language preference do not need your consent — the service cannot work without the first, and the second only stores a choice you made yourself. The referral cookie is not essential, so it is set only if you agree. You are asked inside the console, and you can change or withdraw that answer there at any time; withdrawing it deletes the cookie.
05Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and stop the connection flows from completing; the rest can be refused with no loss of function.
06Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever the cookies we use change, and the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Questions about cookies? Email us at [email protected].
